If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. Providing additional data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive newsletters once you have expressly confirmed your consent to receive the newsletter by clicking on a verification link sent to the e-mail address you provided.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We store the IP address entered by your Internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later date. The data collected by us when you subscribe to the newsletter is used strictly for the intended purpose.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. 8.2 Sending the e-mail newsletter to existing customers

If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing goods and/or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods and/or services to those already purchased from our range by e-mail. Data processing in this respect is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your e-mail address for this purpose, we will not send you any e-mails.

You are entitled to object to the use of your e-mail address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the controller named at the beginning. 9.8 Use of payment service providers (payment services)

- Apple Pay

If you choose the payment method „Apple Pay“ of Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment is processed via the „Apple Pay“ function of your end device operated with iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored in „Apple Pay“. Apple Pay uses security features integrated into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, it is therefore necessary to enter a code you have previously defined and to verify it using the „Face ID“ or „Touch ID“ function of your end device.

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide as part of the ordering process, together with information about your order, is transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again using a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the successful payment.

If personal data is processed in the context of the transmissions described, processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Apple stores anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymisation completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve „Apple Pay“ and other Apple products and services.

If you use Apple Pay on iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase that you made via Safari on Mac, the Mac and the authorisation device communicate via an encrypted channel on Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in the settings of your iPhone. Go to „Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable „Allow Payments on Mac".

Further information on data protection for Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

If you select a payment method of the provider in which you make an advance payment (e.g. credit card payment), your payment data provided as part of the ordering process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be passed on to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

If you select a payment method in which the provider makes an advance payment (e.g. purchase on account or instalment purchase or direct debit), you will also be asked during the ordering process to provide certain personal data (first and last name, street, house number, post code, city, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, if applicable data on an alternative means of payment).

In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining the creditworthiness of our customers, this data is forwarded by us to the provider for the purpose of a credit check in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The provider checks, on the basis of the personal data provided by you as well as other data (such as shopping basket, invoice amount, order history, payment experience), whether the payment option you have selected can be granted with regard to payment and/or bad debt risks.

For the decision as part of the application review, in addition to provider-internal criteria in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, identity and creditworthiness information from the following credit agencies may also be included:

  • Euler Hermes Deutschland, Friedensallee 254, 22763 Hamburg, Germany

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. Among other things, but not exclusively, address data is included in the calculation of the score values.

You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contract-compliant payment processing.

To authorise a payment via Google Pay in excess of 25.00 €, it is necessary to unlock your mobile end device beforehand using the respective verification measure set up (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide as part of the ordering process together with information about your order is transmitted to Google. Google then transmits the payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a transaction number assigned once to the originating website, with which a payment that has been made is verified. This transaction number contains no information about the real payment data of your payment method stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numeric token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts solely as an intermediary for processing the payment process. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored in Google Pay.

If personal data is processed in the context of the transmissions described, processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

10) Web analytics services

10.1 Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables analysis of your use of our website.

By default, when you visit the website, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies, which are stored as small text modules on your end device and collect certain information. The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which, however, is shortened by Google by the last digits in order to exclude direct personal identification.

The information is transmitted to Google servers and processed further there. Transfers to Google LLC based in the USA are also possible.

Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. The data collected as part of the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the end device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to the website. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service via the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Demographic characteristics
Google Analytics 4 uses the special function „demographic characteristics“ and can create statistics that provide information about the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This is done by analysing advertising and information from third-party providers. This makes it possible to identify target groups for marketing activities. However, the data collected cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after being stored for a period of two months.

Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals can be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have enabled personalised ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google can, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, analyse your usage behaviour across devices and create database models, including for cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop cross-device analysis, you can disable the "Personalised advertising" function in the settings of your Google account. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=de
Further information on Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=de

User IDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "User IDs" function can be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, have created an account on this website and log in to this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analysed across devices.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

10.2 Google Tag Manager

This website uses the „Google Tag Manager“, a service provided by: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: „Google“).

Google Tag Manager provides a technical basis for bundling various web applications, including tracking and analytics services, and for calibrating, controlling and linking them to conditions via a uniform user interface. The Google Tag Manager itself does not store any information on user end devices and does not read any such information. Nor does the service carry out any independent data analysis. However, when a page is accessed, Google Tag Manager transmits your IP address to Google and may store it there. A transfer to servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.

This processing is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Tag Manager will not be used during your visit to the website. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To revoke your consent, please deactivate this service in the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

11) Retargeting/ remarketing and conversion tracking

11.1 Meta Pixel with advanced matching

Within our online offering, we use the service "Meta Pixel" of the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

If a user clicks on an advert placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then stored in the user's browser after redirection via a cookie that our linked page itself sets. In addition, this cookie records specific customer data such as the e-mail address that we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram advert for processes such as purchases, account logins or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read out and enables the transmission of the data including the specific customer data to Meta.

We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our adverts (so-called "ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they correspond to the interests of users or have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Meta (so-called "custom audiences").

In addition, we analyse the effectiveness of our adverts by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advert (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel", the advanced matching function helps us to better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by recording more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta so that it can be assigned to the respective user profile and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Meta and its partners to place adverts on and outside Facebook.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is usually transferred to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, it may also be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

11.2 Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in your end device's browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. Further data processing only takes place if you have consented to Google linking your internet and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalise adverts that you view on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form target groups. When using Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transferred to Google LLC servers in the USA.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to the website.

11.7 Google Ads conversion tracking

This website uses the online advertising programme "Google Ads" and, within the scope of Google Ads, conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland („Google“).

We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites by means of advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. We pursue the objective of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an advert placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the advert and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their advert and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

When using Google Ads, personal data may also be transferred to Google LLC servers in the USA.

Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.

https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de

In order to address users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships in an even more interest-based manner for advertising purposes, we use a customer matching function within Google Ads. For this purpose, we transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data (primarily e-mail addresses and telephone numbers) electronically to Google. Google does not gain access to plain data, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to assign it to existing Google accounts that the data subjects have set up. This enables personalised advertising to be displayed across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.

The transmission of customer data to Google only takes place if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.

We pursue the objective of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

Instead, your browser's local storage is used to store an individual ID assigned by Google, which enables analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, certain user information is processed via the ID.

The ID is set when a user clicks on an advert placed by Google. If the user visits certain pages of this website, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the advert and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers.
